Virus Scanning Status Codes View All CTSLink Direct

bypassed – The file was uploaded, but not scanned because we disabled the antivirus scanner for some reason (license expired etc.). File is immediately available for download, but risk is bore by the user. (Link is active)

pending – File has been uploaded but not yet scanned for viruses. This will be displayed during the time between when the file is uploaded and the file is submitted for scanning. User will have to check back later to see if the file is ready for download. (no link for download)

scanning – File is currently being scanned for viruses. This is probably going to be a common state for users because virus scanning is not instantaneous for large files. User will have to check back later to see if the file is ready for download. (no link for download)

clean – The file was scanned and is clean of malware or other threats. File is now available for download. (Link is active)

infected – The file was scanned, and the antivirus software determined that there was a threat. The file cannot be downloaded. (no link for download)

override – Customer Service has overridden the issue. (Link is active)

failed – A fatal system error occurred. (no link for download)

error – An error occurred while scanning the file. Usually is because the user has uploaded a zip or pdf file that is encrypted or has a password. (no link for download)
